The Story

Haniwa clay figurines were first made as decorations for ancient tombs about 1,800 years ago in Japan. This Haniwa figurine is a collaboration item with the famous Haniwa craft studio in Miyazaki prefecture in Kyushu where it's known for the excavations of several burial mounds.

This item is hand finished one by one with fluorescent paints on the unglazed “Haniwa”. Glows in the dark effect.

Please note that each one is one of a kind finish due to the handmade nature of this product.
