A miniature version of the retro-style plastic tool box by Hightide. 

New Retro series bring desk goods nostalgic of the "Showa Retro” era, with designs particular to 1930s-50s Japan. These types of tool boxes - "Odogu-Bako" as printed on the cover - used to accompany every student at school, to organize their desks.
