The Story

A retro carabiner key ring with a spring closure by Candy Design & Works, an accessary maker from Kobe, Japan.

The design is based off of promotional keychains that large automakers gave away in the 1950s. Push down on the etched rod to insert keys and loop onto your belt hole. You can even attach tags onto the triangular ring attached to the rod. Comes gift-ready in a smartly designed paper box.

Dimensions:
(W)3.8” x (H2.4 x (D)0.8" (Package)
(W)1” x (H)2.7” x (D)0.2” (Key Ring)

Material: Nickel / Brass

Made in Japan.

Candy Design & Works creates accessories inspired by the manufacturing techniques and product specs from the 1920s-60s. The name “Candy” originates from the album title of  Lee Morgan, a jazz trumpeter beloved by the founder Jiro Kawamoto. Studying the old manufacturing specs down to its minute detail, the design company reinvents products nostalgic of the good-old days before mass production became the norm.
